
D.M. Jones – (Daniel Marc)
D.M. is currently a Ph.D. in Education candidate at Queen’s University. Prior to this, he completed an M.A. TESOL at Trinity Western University and a B.A. at St. Thomas University. In addition to these degrees, D.M. holds TESL Canada Standard Three certification. His teaching philosophy draws upon multiliteracies pedagogy and sociocultural theory.
Expertise and Experience
D.M.’s teaching career covers a wide range of classroom contexts. This includes teaching in the B.Ed. program at Queen’s University (Graduate Teaching Fellow 2022 & 2023), newcomer language programs, junior high schools, and a host of private language schools. Further, he has a wealth of hands-on experience teaching essential skills and problem solving in manufacturing contexts. Finally, D.M. has a significant amount of experience working as a research assistant on various academic research projects.
