Individual Applications

Individual Applications

Step 1: Connect

Consult with a UCW Recruitment Advisor to choose a program that best meets your needs and commit to a start date for the first term at UCW.

Step 2: Apply

  1. Create an account with UCW (or login if you already have one): Create an account
  2. Select your preferred program
  3. Complete your online application in full, including the upload of copies of your supporting documents such as proof of identity, academic transcripts, CV and English language proficiency if required
  4. Make payment for the application fee if required

If transcripts (or other supporting documents) are in a language other than English, then you will need to provide an official English translation from a certified translator in addition to a copy of the original transcripts.

Upon review, if all admission requirements have been met, the Registrar’s Office will send an official Letter of Offer (LOO).

Step 3: Accept

To continue with your application, you will need to accept the offer by payment of the deposit (details will be included in your LOO). This deposit is non-refundable unless your visa application is refused by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Once payment has been received, the Registrar’s Office will send an official Letter of Acceptance (LOA).

Students will not be able to register for courses at UCW unless they have received this letter. International applicants will also require the LOA as a part of their visa application to come and study in Canada.

Official Transcripts

Please note that copies of transcripts are suitable for the application, however, you will be requested to provide official transcripts as a part of the registration process. An official transcript is one that is sent directly from the issuing institution to UCW’s Registrar’s Office without interference. It must bear the official seal and/or signature of the issuing institution and have been produced on the institution’s security paper. Transcripts are only deemed official if they are received by the UCW Registrar’s Office in a sealed envelope that remains free of tampering.

UCW Designated Learning Institution (DLI) Number

As a Designated Learning Institution (DLI), UCW is issued the DLI number O19377235822. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) may ask you to provide UCW’s DLI number when you apply for a study permit or a visa. Please note that the DLI number starts with the letter "O" and not zero.
